Phillips Counseling
Phillips Counseling is a mental health counseling practice in the Birmingham area that was preparing to open a new location. While they already had strong photography and an initial website in place, they wanted support creating a more cohesive brand identity and improving how the practice showed up online.
I partnered with Phillips Counseling to refine their visual identity, bring greater consistency to their website and materials, and support their marketing setup during an important growth moment.
My Role
My work with Phillips Counseling focused on brand clarity, practical setup, and patient-facing consistency.
We began with a new logo and brand style guide, then completed a One Day Intensive to apply the updated branding across key platforms and materials. The goal was to help the practice feel more cohesive and professional—without overcomplicating systems or creating work they couldn’t maintain.
What I Worked On
Logo and brand style guide
Designing a new logo and creating a simple brand style guide to establish clear visual direction across digital and print materials.
Website updates and branding alignment
Updating the existing Squarespace website to reflect the new logo, colors, and typography, while maintaining the strong photography already in place.
Analytics, SEO, and marketing setup
Setting up Google Analytics and providing foundational SEO support within Squarespace. Supporting the initial setup of Google Ads to improve visibility during the location launch period.
Digital templates and brand kit
Creating a brand kit and reusable social media templates in Canva Pro to support consistent, in-house content creation.
Printed materials
Designing a 5.5” × 8.5” informational page and a letterhead template for use with clients and referral partners.
The Outcome
Phillips Counseling gained a clearer, more cohesive brand presence across their website, marketing tools, and printed materials. The updated systems supported the launch of their new location while giving the practice practical, easy-to-use tools they could manage confidently going forward.
