Sylacauga Gynecology Website Case Study

Sylacauga Gynecology was in the middle of an important transition. Formerly a full-service OB/GYN practice, the clinic was refocusing its care on gynecology and women’s health — including minimally invasive surgery and physician-directed medical weight loss. At the same time, the practice wanted to clearly communicate what patients value most about their experience: timely access to care, same-day or next-day appointments when available, and short in-office wait times.

Their website needed to reflect all of this without confusing existing patients or overwhelming new ones — while reinforcing the professionalism, respect, and ease patients experience in the clinic.

The goal was not just a new look, but a site that supported clarity, trust, and informed decision-making at every step.

Project Context

This project involved more than a standard website refresh. Key considerations included:

  • An established medical practice with an existing patient base

  • A rebrand and service shift from OB/GYN to gynecology-focused care

  • Migration from a third-party marketing platform to Squarespace

  • Clear differentiation between multiple service lines

  • SEO and Google continuity during a domain and brand transition

The site needed to feel calm, clear, and easy to navigate, while supporting the practice through its next phase.

My Role

I partnered closely with Dr. Jonathan Rehberg to clarify the practice’s services, refine messaging, and create a website that reflected the quality of care patients experience in the clinic.

My role included strategic content refinement, site structure and flow, Squarespace build and migration, and launch support — with careful attention to patient experience and clarity.

The website was designed to work within Sylacauga Gynecology’s brand and photography to create a cohesive and professional patient experience.
